I changed the title to Spanglish to improve the alliteration. I’ve missed the last two little weeks, and we’re starting school on Tuesday this week due to Domincan Labor Day so it feels like Monday. I had the worst time getting out of bed this morning. My left eye is freakishly red, and I am having a hard time feeling ready to GIVE to my students. I love them, but they are so draining. But this is my last chance, so I need to cowgirl up and show Christ’s love.
This week’s verse is super easy. It’s from Philippians. Does anyone else struggle with the l’s in that word? I cheat and abbreviate so I don’t look lame. Philippians is easily a fave book of the Bible, although Kevin tried to steal it at my wedding shower. Can you believe that we prepped for that question? What can I say other than that I have been a professional bridesmaid for many years now. Long story short, his favorite book is now James – at least on the official bridal shower record.
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
