I totally got my way last night with my fro-yo dreams. It was the perfect way to end a lovely Labor Day weekend! We tried out Yogurtini which is a LOT closer to our apartment than Yogurtland, and, thankfully, it featured a lot less teenagers! I like to experience my yogurt-induced bliss without having listening to Bieberfans asking each other 1,000 times,”What should we do now?” Go to the mall!!
The topping selection at Yogurtini was definitely superior. Lucky Charms. Frosted Animal Crackers. Butter Fingers. Peanut Butter Chips. These are just some highlights!
And the pumps at the end! Wow! Do you see that little squeeze bottle closest to us! That’s NUTELLA!
I don’t really go nuts for it. I’ve just blogged about it a few times so it caught my eye. And I thought it was cool. Maybe I will create an Australian-themed dessert for Kevin next time!
Awwwa! I caught the sweetest moment. On our way out, I noticed Kevin was distracted. I was like,”Honey, what are you doing?” In the nicest, not-annoyed-at-all voice everrrr, of course! He was reading my blog. THAT is a quality husband. I don’t even care to read my blog most of the time. Hence the ridiculous typos.
I cracked open If I Bring You Roses at bedtime last night. Oops. I read almost 200 pages. And afterwards I couldn’t go to sleep. The first portion of the book is set in Puerto Rico. It just reminded me too much of the DR. I couldn’t stop daydreaming about plantains and conchos afterwards. I finished the book today. It was a really good story but unfortunately, the second section was marred by a philandering husband. I’m sure it was very realistic, but it was TMI for me. The main character’s name was Felicidad. I loved reading that name over and over. Anybody? I’m trying to think of how an American would pronounce that. Lol.
I spent some quality time with the gym this afternoon. That’s not my emo pose. I got distracted by something on Say Yes to the Dress. I ran over 9 miles. It was in various stints, so I can’t really give you good timing. Suffice to say that it was a good workout.
I came home and had a carrot cake yogurt to tide me over until our usual 9PM dinnertime. It actually DID taste like carrot cake. It was odd. It wasn’t actually TOO horrible for you. Not too much sugar.
I wish Kevin would’ve been home to taste it. He loves carrot cake sooo much!
I put these babies in the oven before sitting down to blog. I tried a recipe called Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies. I had everything except vanilla, and they turned out beautifully! Kevin’s going to love his after school snack!

Thanks Corrie Anne, my sister and I co-founded the company and I just posted your blog to our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Yogurtini
Glad you had a good experience.

That fro-yo looks seriously delish. We live in a fro-yo wasteland and I’ve been craving it all summer. Thanks for the vicarious treat.
Fro-yo wastelands are sad!! I just moved out of one into the fro-yo wonderland. I promise to take full advantage.
