Turning 27, Part 2!

After a brisk 10k and a delicious lunch, Kevin and I set out to purchase my birthday gift!

Unfortunately, it was NOT a Vizsla… Because my husband is mature and rational, we are going to wait to add to our family. In any way, shape, or form. :)

This is where we found ourselves…

I think he had a few hints, but he did really well with them! That’s a wise husband. Take the hints and RUN WITH THEM!! I ended up getting the second jacket from my previous Lululemon post… with the hood and the thumb holes! Hooray! I also felt the need for another headband. I don’t think I can walk in that store without buying a headband!

I was pretty pleased with our purchases. And the cute little bag they came in. I’m wearing one of the bridesmaid dresses from our wedding! The proof is in the picture that you really CAN wear it again! I just realized I don’t have any wedding party pictures posted yet. I’ll have to get on that this week! :)

Our next stop was Gigi’s Cupcakes. I gave Kevin a pass on baking a cake this year since we don’t really have the necessary tools. I LOVED Gigi’s. They had a whole line of those cute pink & green adirondack chairs outside and a cozy interior. It’d be a fun afternoon date since they also serve coffee!

How can you decide!??! It was hilarious because all of the customers were having difficulty deciding and kept letting people pass them in line! :)

Even the box was adorable!!!

Our 4 picks: Champagne, Lemon Ice Box, Summer Fun, and White Midnight Magic!

I’m not sure I recommend eating the Summer Fun cupcake in bed. The sprinkles get everywhere!!!

I’m sorry. I just can’t stop with the cupcake pictures. They just make me so-so happy!!! Do you see how HIGH that frosting is??? There is enough frosting to go with each bite of cake. Perfection!

See what I mean about the sprinkles?? Love it! Gigi’s has a countdown to their fall menu. I can’t wait!! We’re hoping for carrot cake. And something egg nog inspired?!?!?

For dinner Kevin and I had some pizza from Papa John’s! Maybe not what you would consider a special birthday dinner, but I love junk food and try not to eat too much of it. So it’s definitely a treat for me!!

Wasn’t I a precious baby? Thanks to Kevin and for everyone who sent super sweet videos & messages. It was a perfect day! Love you!! <3

Those cupcakes look amazing! Cake to frosting ratio is perfect. And I love Lululemon. I wish I could afford to buy a whole closet full of their clothes!

I know, right?!!? I was tempted to get some running capris also, but then I knew I would just spend the entire fall in head-to-toe black Lululemon!! Not that there’s anything wrong with that!! :)
