I dreamed up this little combo this morning when my poor little eyes just couldn’t take Excel spreadsheets any more. They started seeing avocado!
One Rudi’s wrap folded in half with fresh pineapple, avocado, and a sprinkling of cheese. Y-um. I made Kevin’s without the pineapple and with like triple the cheese. He hates the way I mix pineapple with more savory things. Some blueberries on the side. Love that fruits I like are in season right now!
Today’s WOD:
I was totally thinking BURPEES!!!!!!!!!!!! on the way home from work. Weird, I know.

My results – 135 total.
15+13+15+12+13+13+11+13+14+16
That last round of 16 was pretty painful. Kevin was blithely watching me gasp for breath from the elliptical. I allowed the slacking since it’s his birthday eve, and he’s not the burpee lover I am.
That’s the most burpees I’ve ever done in one day. Now I can’t help but think I could definitely do 150. Although.. I’m not quite sure how. Probably if I had done the run not on the treadmill??? I’ll have to scout out an alternative location for this workout and try it again. Kevin only has a free pass for tonight and tomorrow so maybe after that I can trick him into doing it with me. Although he was helpful in keeping my score for me. I could barely gasp it out after each round. Lol.
We didn’t have a “real” dinner, but we made homemade guacamole and pico de gallo and scarfed it down with Red Hot Blues. Kevin rarely gets me get away with this type of non-dinner! But he knew I was going to go work on his big b-day cake!!
What kind of b-day cake would you choose? Kevin always chooses carrot cake. It’s one of my favorites too. Although I like funfetti quite a bit and I love to try new things.
I polled my Facebook friends — but what do you think would be a good girl name for a dog? It has to go with Boyd. You know so I can yell at them in one sentence and it will roll of the tongue. Haha. We have a girl in mind. We MIGHT go look at her tomorrow since we are off!!!!!!!! I feel nervous already.
I don’t know why, but the name Stella comes to mind.
YAY for a new pup!! I love the name “Emma” for a girl doggie. Or “Bella”. So cute.
I have the perfect avocado in my fridge for a quesadilla just like that. Making it! I don’t know why, but I think Erma is a cute name for a girl dog.

A new furry friend!
I actually prefer birthday pie. I know, I’m weird. Yay for new furry family members! Maybe Kit, Bess or Emma?

As for birthday cake… last year my b’day was right in the middle of me trying to lose a significant amount of weight (like 10 pounds into the 53 I’ve lost so far!!!) So, I asked my MIL to make me a creamy yogurt-y dip with fresh fruit instead of a cake. Everyone (else) in the family thought it was super weird, but I LOVED IT!!!!!!! I might do a similar thing this year. And for Babycakes’ 2nd birthday coming up in August we’re doing a pancake party! So no cake. (I’m going to be one of those “weird” moms that everyone talks about at the PTA mtg… I just know it).
I love b-day cake alternatives!! And the pancake party idea rocks!!

Love burpees?! You crazy girl. We did 100 in a row for a fitmixer bootcamp workout last week- not fun!
