May I present: the Craigslist couch!

Cute, right? Marigold. Tufted. I love it!!! And it was a steal. We’re planning to shampoo it. And not eat directly off of it. It was about $1000 cheaper than similar ones we were looking at online so I can use that money on a chair or something. Win-win! And if we decide we don’t like it, I’m confident of its resale value on Craigslist in our little neighborhood.
Boyd is supposedly not going to be allowed on it.
I think he felt like he needed to put his nose in each individual tuft. Its prior owners definitely had a dog. A beautiful dog that I tried to get them to give me along with the couch. I’m serious. Her name was Stella.
And then, because he’s a genius, he immediately knocked his tennis ball underneath the couch.
Now those bachelor green chairs need to go pronto!!!!!!
Woops. That was lunch today. I had a few things in mind, but we were crunched for time. We ended up getting out of church late, and I was actually socializing so I guess Kevin didn’t want to drag me away. Lol. Then we were in a rush to head out to look at the couch After we checked it out, Kevin took care of picking it up with a friend while I headed to the gym.
Today’s WOD:
Warm-up: Jog .5 miles
Run 6 1000′s each followed by 60 seconds of recovery (I was going for approximately tempo pace so I ran them at 7.8, 7.9, 8.0, 7.8, 7.9, and 8.0)
Cool-down: Jog 1 mile
I ran 5.5 miles total, and I was ready to call it a day. There were no good Olympics events on obviously!!!

Boom Chicka Pop, YESSS!! You know, ever since discovering it at Target, I’ve had to avoid that section of the store. I can seriously eat the entire bag in a couple days. Of course now that the hubby is home, I would have a little help…
That couch is great! I love that Kevin is willing to get brightly colored furniture like that. If I had my way, every room in our house would be a different colored version of “shabby chic” but hubby loves the neutrals. I’ve been able to talk him into a few pops of color here & there but nothing like that mac & cheese colored couch!

especially the tennis ball under the couch because for the last 15 minutes we’ve been watching our dog knock his there and then crying and then we have to get it…he is special.
Oh my goodness gracious alive! That is the best couch I have ever seen in my life. It is literally my dream couch that I have in my head at all times. Square, tufted, mid-century, and ORANGE! You are one lucky lady to find that, and if I lived near you, I would try to talk you into selling it to me. But don’t sell it ever!:)
That couch is amazing! I love “statement” furniture and this is definitely a statement piece. I can see all kinds of funky throw pillows and lamp options to go with it!

I love La Croix coconut water. We got that, the lime and the grapefruit on sale at Target last week 3 for $10. Greg has almost finished all of them!
