I love that Boyd showed his true colors and just went for the SOCKS!! That dog loves some sweaty socks.

This morning:

Well, I WANTED to start my day off with some yoga. I turned on the dvd. Rolled out my mat. And here’s what I got:

Pippa went CRAZY! That’s the most sass I’ve ever seen out of that girl. She wouldn’t stop mauling me whenever I got on the mat. And when I locked them out, the dogs were barking so raucously that I was forced to go discipline them. The construction next door is driving them up a wall!! I can’t wait until they finish! I know we give the workers some entertainment every day as I try to corral them. And Pippa’s still on the schedule of going out 15x a day. But zero accidents today!! I’m so proud.

I gave up and went running. Pippa and I ran 4 miles, and then I came back to take Boyd .36 miles. Boyd was more exhausted by far!

That would be Pippa’s package of pink stuff from Wag.com! Best shopping site for pets ever, by the way. It’s like Zappos — free 2-day shipping & free returns. That wins my heart over every time!!

Pippa understood right away that the pretty pink bed belonged to her. Boyd tried to muscle his way in a few times, but we swatted him away.

I left the puppies home alone to do today’s GPP workout:

Fun with Run & Lunge

2 rounds for time:

400 m run
20 lunge curls 15/20 ea.

20 lunge presses 15/20 ea.

20 lunge snatches 15/20 ea.

I did this workout back on June 18 when we were apartment dwellers, but unfortunately I didn’t have a time to beat recorded. I remember there were people in my way on the treadmills so I ended up doing extra lunges. Not really a bad thing. Today’s time was 23:44. I’m not even close to keeping up with the people who post in the GPP comments, but I worked hard for that!!!!

No food today. We ate, but I wasn’t a fan of my cooking. Does that ever happen to you?

Pippa, on the other hand, is always a fan of her food. Especially in her new pink polka dot bowl! Don’t you think wag.com should sponsor my dogs??? Haha.

The humans needed some fro yo tonight.

I had the genius idea that we should take the dogs. Like I hadn’t had ENOUGH of them today!

I forgot how Pippa acts without the gentle leader… she needs a little bit more practice. But Menchie’s had pistachio fro yo! It was amazing! And I scored a vanilla wafer and gummy worm for Pippa. Always thinking of my BFF!

She really is a girl’s best friend — even with her crazy clinginess. How gorgeous is she in her hot pink collar??? It’s way too big for my skinny love. Hoping she grows into it!! Now if only I could teach her to sweep and swiffer! These dogs require a lot of cleaning!!

I actually did do something other than play with my dogs today. Pippa managed a nap or two while I worked on creating some forms for my piano studio. I had several inquiries today! Super exciting! I also got a call from a local piano teacher… she’s apparently seen my website. Am I on her turf??? Haha. Well, we’re meeting at Starbucks tomorrow! The worst that could happen is that I get Starbucks! She wants to talk to me about the local music teachers association and whatnot. Also, I’m getting my piano tuned next week. Exciting!!!!!!!

What encouraged you today? Getting inquiries for my piano studio. Pippa making it through a day with no accidents. Haha.
