I was serious about my shoe dilemma — which, by the way, I still haven’t resolved. I’m a serious procrastinator when it comes to phone calls.
A TOE IS COMING OUT!
Pippa’s new leash is perfect for securing her while I practice jumping pull ups. I went for 50 today! We ran a little over three miles before I had to get cleaned up for my coffee date.
I was meeting with a piano teacher in my neighborhood. She called me several times yesterday until I picked up the call and she wanted to set up a meeting. That skeptical face about sums up my feelings on it. At least I got a latte out of it. She was very friendly and welcoming, but she’s unhappy with my piano studio name. She showed me her business card and her studio name is similar — not exactly the same. But she doesn’t have a website sooo…. how was I supposed to know? I feel bad because she wants me to change it, but she doesn’t really live that close and I honestly don’t think we’re competitors. Plus, after I got home, I remembered that I already paid a whole year for the web domain, not to mention all the time I’ve put into it. Awkward situation!!!! She obviously had read everything on my website because she could repeat my biography. Am I too open on the internet????? Haha.
That set me behind on gym time!!
Today’s WOD called for some capri pants to avoid burpee knees.
Seriously. You’re going to need them!!! Just hiding my ugly toes. I need a pedicure!

(burpee sumo dead lift high pull (alternating sides), one arm kettlebell swing, burpee box jumps)
I started using a 20lb kettlebell for the first two exercises, but decided a dumbbell was easier for the burpee high pulls. 10 burpee box jumps in a minute are HARD to get. And the back to back burpees? Crazy!! I did have to pause twice because I got behind my beeps!! Tough!! But that was one of my favorite workouts ever! I liked the EMOTM plan! It was motivating me to go fast so I could have a breather!
I also spent a few hours on the phone today!! It’s gotten a little crazy over here, and I have a few things in the works!!! 
For date night we revisited Park Burger at their Highlands location. I chose a plain burger on greens topped with guacamole.
French fries are really one of my favorite foods. Parmesan Truffle for Kevin and Sweet Potato for me.

What’s your favorite kind of fries? It’s sweet potato! But I also like curly. Parmesan truffle. And many more. I ate sweet potato fries for lunch today too. I hope it never comes out that sweet potatoes are bad for you… haha.
Who was your last dinner date? Kevin James. We left the dogs at home this time.

I am also a phone call procrastinator! I hate calling people, haha. I can’t believe that piano studio lady actually asked you to change the name of your business!! I don’t like that. By the way, have I mentioned lately how much you inspire me with your strength workouts? I love it!! I wish you could be my personal trainer, haha!
Um so she totally did a bait and switch on you? Rude. I would not change my name because you had no idea she even existed. And even so, just because it’s similar is no way near saying it’s the same. It’s like saying HP and IBM are so similar because they are both random letters put together and one needs to change. Last night my cat Jax was my dinner date! He yelled at me the whole time.

what did she think she was gonna meet up with you to scare you away? She obviously hasn’t seen your muscles. I say next time you’re in her neighborhood, stop by and offer her a free lesson. 
um, and that pic of you at coffee is adorbs. I just got some new glasses like that but they’re brown!!
If the names aren’t the same and she doesn’t advertise on the web…I think its a no brainer. There is no real reason for you to change it. Especially if you aren’t really competing for the same students. I think its really strange that she would even ask you. Weird indeed. Sorry that happened. I will pray for a quick resolution!

So… she called you a million times and met up with you just to tell you that you stole her name? How similar is it? And yeah- how are you supposed to know if she’s not on the web? Very weird.

Those fries look amazing! That is an awkward situation with the other piano teacher. But I would just let her know what you said about already having paid for the name and web space and that you are not trying to steal her students. She will probably still not be happy about it, but as long as you are ok with that, I would keep your name.
