You might be a little confused. Kevin is the one graduated, but I got a gift!! But let’s face it, he probably couldn’t have made it through the MBA program without all of the cookies.
It was definitely a surprise. Kevin just gave it to me about an hour ago as sort of an early birthday present. Don’t worry. I’m already trying to define this. Is it REALLY a birthday present? I don’t know if I can count it so early… He had it delivered to his office. Super tricky. But we actually had to drive over there tonight to pick it up since he didn’t want to bring it home on his bike. Haha.
It’s a new Macbook!!! I’m so happy!!! My old one has been making blogging miserable because it runs so slowly and none of the browsers can be updated! So they were crashing constantly. It was so frustrating!!
But I do feel sad that it’s not white!
But it’s so skinny!! And I don’t constantly see the waiting wheel when I click on something.

A new Macbook is like the beginning of a new era! One with no homework! Two dogs! A green piano. Thousands of burpees!

Wedging her little nose with her toy in between our laptop knees. Kevin and I already have plans in the works to protect my new laptop from the dogs. They’re very boisterous and have a tendency to knock things off our little tv table work stations. So we’ve done some furniture rearranging.

I finished in 29:04. I was shooting for finishing in under 30. The V-ups really slowed me down. I had never done them before, and I wasn’t being overly graceful. After two rounds, I reverted to sit-ups because my form was just getting UGLY!

Ah that’s so great! I actually got a new computer too but not an Apple product. My brother built me one. We are ALL PC. haha Especially with programming, it’s just easier for me. And as for the invitation, I wanna be there!!

I am SO happy for you… but SO jealous!! My Macbook is from 2006!!! I upgraded the memory in June, but now it’s acting up again. It sounds like an airplane taking off all the time- like it’s about to explode!

I am using a MacBook circa 2008…courtesy of a friend who obviously loved her mac more than I loved my Dell, which is just as old but slower. This old mac’s battery lasts 4 hours! The Dell gets me all excited when it lasts more than 45 minutes!
And with the mac what do you use to blog? Do you use a editor or just the WP online blog thing? I’m trying to find an easy way to blog on the mac – I miss Live Writer!

I sercretly cant wait for my computer (a Dell) to crap out so i can get a mac book! i want one sooo bad but i cant justify buying one until i NEED a new computer – I have considered sabotage but i am not one to waste something perfectly fine. I cant wait tho. im all appled up elsewhere (iphone, ipad, ipod, etc)
I have a MacBook Air and LOVE it!!! It is so thin that I can shove it anywhere to put it out of the way….. CUTE party invite!

I love that picture of the three of you, What good memories we have of eating there with my mom. You are like her in some ways, she’d want to be sending cookies home with everyone too. Remember how you’d bake cookies with her and than she’d send them home with us to eat in the car. Wish we could be there for the party.. Stay cool today it is to be 103 here and the kids have a cc meet today.

Yay!!! What a great surprise! I just got a Macbook this summer for my own personal use. (I’ve never had my own–just used whatever they had at work). It’s been soooo awesome. You’re going to love the Macbook.
Ahh I’m so excited for you! I remember when I first got my Mac Book Pro..I treated it like it was my baby…who am I kidding, I still do! And your party suonds amazing- cookies galore…and you’re so sweet wanting to send people home with extras! Congrats to Kevin for graduating!
