Hey there, my name’s Corrie Anne. Believe it or not, that’s how my blog title came about. Some may call it self-centered. I just call it easy to remember.
I’m a newlywed! On June 24, 2011, I married the cutest & funniest guy I know of, Kevin Kreisel. I think he’s the bee’s knees. You can expect to see his face plastered all over this blog as we go through life’s daily adventures together. I still can’t believe we get to live together. It’s so awesome. You can read all about our crazy, fun, DIY-ish, not-quite-blogworthy wedding on the wedding page.
Kevin and I unexpectedly moved to Denver in the end of August 2011! We a got a surprise phone call during our honeymoon that they were closing his office in Minnesota! We were bummed to leave our family, but we’re loving exploring all the new running, fro-yo, and shopping hotspots. If you’re from the area, I’d love to meetup!!!
I’m currently without official employment. I spent the last 3 years in a job I LOVED teaching at Santiago Christian School in the Dominican Republic. It broke my little heart to leave, but I believe it was the Lord’s timing for me to come home and be Kevin’s little wifey. Here I am with my “adopted” Dominican son Morys – I miss him tons! TQM!
You can see some more of our adventures in the Dominican over here.
Email me anytime at youblinkimgone@gmail.com. I’m interested in cooking, running, cute stuff, funny stuff, and finding a job teaching online. I’d like to open my own piano studio someday, write the first great American-Dominican novel, and teach a few fitness classes (If you’re my old high school P.E. class, you have no idea how I miss torturing you!!).
I didn’t mean to save this for last, but it’s worth stating here, Kevin James and I are Christians. And not in the religious rules-y kind of way, it’s all about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. John 14:6 says: “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

So happy to see another Denver blogger–we need to get together some time and have a big Denver blogger meetup!
I would absolutely love that!!!! I don’t even know of very many!! I’m always surprised I don’t come across more since the Denver area is so healthy living focused!
ahhhh Amen girllll!!!! I am soooo happy to know that you love the Lord in that way~the ONLY way to love Him, through a relationship.
And omghsh how cool is that?!!! I had an “adopted son” in the dominican republic too!!! I did it through Compassion International. I’m so happy to have found ya. You seem to be glowing with joy and fun. <3
Hey, Corrie,

http://helpfortheheart.wordpress.com/2012/01/02/a-little-award-and-a-lot-of-sunshine/
Really enjoying your blog! Thanks for stopping by mine
Can’t wait to read more!
I went to the DR to an orphanage my freshman year of college. I would die to go back there again, I absolutely loved it.
Love your blog and glad you found mine! You have such an eclectic mix of things to read about and I enjoy that!
A blog award for you! http://conchsaladesque.wordpress.com/2011/10/27/liebster-blog-award/
Wow! I’m so flattered! Thanks!
You have a wonderful blog. I came across it from another blogger. Love the pictures as well and the story behind them. God Bless
I am completely enjoying your blog. I look forward to seeing what you post next in a not quite, but almost stalkerish kinda way. Kuddos on a job well done!
You look very happy on your wedding day there. Your wedding dress looks fabulous but for me it was Kevin’s biege suit with matching comedy spinning bow tie. socks and loafer shoes that top the picture off.
I hope no-one else turned up in the same suit as him ‘cos that would have been REALLY embarrassing.
Quick question. In the background of the picture is that a gazebo or a bouncy castle?
Unfortunately that’s just a gazebo. A bounce house would’ve been great. It’s funny that you mentioned that because we actually considered having one!!
LOVE that first pic of you and your hubbs.
Thanks for your comment on my blog! I hope you are liking Denver, I’ve been here for nearly 5 years and it really feels like home. If you need any recommendations, a (slower) running partner, or anything else be sure to let me know!!
You are officially in my blog reader. So cute!! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
I’m so glad you found me!!! I’m loving your blog in the little I’ve seen. Can’t wait to look around more! You and your hubby are adorable — LOVELY wedding pics. And you’re right about the relationship with Jesus Christ.
Love me some Jesus!
I am so glad you commented on my blog so I could find yours! Congratulations on your marriage, you look so gorgeous girl
I look forward to reading more!
I’m a christian too and it’s something that is definitely a little challenging to deal with on the blog. I’m pretty lose on the rules too. Your wedding looks so cute. Love the dress and the little flags.
I think we’re going to be friends!!!! Lol.
A million years ago I was Kevin’s Sunday School Teacher, AWANA leader etc. It is so very cool to see that his life is beautiful.
Very cute blog! I LOVE your wedding dress!
