I STILL don’t think I’m getting enough fruits & vegetables in! It’s tough! We started the day off right though with some apple and blueberries. I scrambled some eggs with some third-time’s-the-charm vegetables, and enjoyed a leftover homemade bread roll with PB2 on the side. I realllly wanted to make blueberry muffins this morning, but I didn’t since we have so many leftovers. I need some more mouths to feed! Haha.
Kevin’s Cookie Friday got me today! Usually it doesn’t tempt me really, but I was worried about the new cookie recipe since I’ve never made them before. So I definitely licked the beaters and ate this little stack of chocolate chips.

Haha. So funny, but it’s a good point that logging your eating can really make you aware of your strengths and weaknesses.
Lunch was an open-face pesto Boca burger served with grapes, carrots & hummus, + a few Pop Chips. I know I haven’t been feeling great because for the second time in one day I didn’t quite finish my plate. That’s SO NOT me. I’m a Clean Plate Club girl. At breakfast, I stopped a slice and a half short or so on that apple. And at lunch I just didn’t feel like exerting the energy to shove in the last few Pop Chips. And I had saved them for last! So that was disappointing. I, of course, passed them over to Kevin James.
I had a party tonight with some of the girls from CBC so I had a bowl of Cinnamon Life to tide me over. Ok. DOUBLE this amount of Cinnamon Life. I have problems with cereal & portion control. Kevin James and I planned a later dinner because we’re still eating late Dominican style. But wait, the worst is yet to come….
We hit Subway around 9:45. I had my typical chicken breast/avocado/green pepper/onion/lettuce sub on wheat with Baked Lays, and wait for it… Diet Coke. Sorry, friends, fell under the loophole category of I’m Eating Out. A little known rule when you are a recovering Diet Coke addict is that you’re still allowed to drink it in restaurants. :)
After that double dinner, I’m off to start the weekend by schnuggling with my honeypie.
